Ahmad Al-Khasawneh
CS student at Amman Arab University and learner at 42 Amman. I spend most of my time close to the metal — processes, memory and file descriptors in C/C++ — and the rest building Spring Boot backends that hold up under real constraints. 3.96 GPA, competitive programmer, heading toward embedded / edge AI.

Things I've built
42 projects, competition entries and team work — roughly in the order they got harder.
CodeForces Coach
AI-powered competitive-programming coach whose learning roadmaps change per user — driven by writing behaviour, hesitation time, error patterns and history. Progressive hints, cheat detection, gamification, live Codeforces data.
demo ▶ft_transcendence · Halaqa
Collaborative group workspace — task boards, group chat with file/image/location sharing, and an AI tutor grounded in each group's own files via RAG. I own the entire Spring Boot backend.
webserv
HTTP/1.0 server in C++98 with a non-blocking epoll event loop, request parsing, CGI, uploads and an NGINX-style config. Fixed an O(n²) bottleneck and concurrent-upload collisions before the final evaluation.
repo ↗minishell
A Bash-like UNIX shell from zero in C: tokenizer, quote handling, pipes, every redirection, heredocs,
$VAR expansion, signals and built-ins.
cub3D
Wolfenstein-style raycasting engine: DDA, perpendicular-distance projection, textured walls, doors, sprites, a minimap and flood-fill map validation.
repo ↗philosophers
Dining philosophers: one thread per philosopher, one mutex per fork, deadlock-free by resource ordering, with a monitor thread that reports a death within milliseconds.
repo ↗SkillSync
AI-powered collaborative learning platform: React + Vite frontend, Node.js backend, PostgreSQL, the Claude API and Socket.io for realtime features.
C++ modules 00–09
From classes and the Orthodox Canonical Form to templates, the STL and a Ford–Johnson merge-insertion sort implemented on two containers.

What I know
From memory management up to AI-driven systems — as htop sees it.

My last year of GitHub contributions as a valgrind memory dump — regenerated daily.

Where the hours went.
Let's connect
Open to junior backend / systems roles, internships and collaborative builds.
